With the start of the new school year, our team launched a new project, 'Wings of Joy,' aimed at supporting children with disabilities. Specifically, it focuses on assisting and involving students from the specialized school 'Harmony' in the city of Boryslav in their education. Supporting children with disabilities is not just charity; it’s a step toward creating a more open and conscious society.
We have been striving to organize the most interesting and beneficial activities for these children. Initially, we began holding art therapy sessions for them in our Talent Development Academy. Later, with the support of the pottery studio 'Kolo Hlyny' in the city of Truskavets, we had the opportunity to take the children to pottery workshops, where they could create their own handmade items. Once all the children had attended these workshops, we began taking them to the swimming pool.
Swimming is not only a wonderful physical activity but also an effective form of rehabilitation for children with disabilities. The water helps relax muscles, reduces strain on joints, improves coordination, and builds endurance. Additionally, being in the water has a positive effect on the children's emotional state—they feel freer, more confident in their abilities, and truly enjoy the process. This is why swimming is one of the best ways to serve these children.
Every child deserves attention, care, and opportunities for development. Through this project, we are not only opening new horizons for them but also teaching all of us to be kinder, more compassionate, and more attentive to the needs of others.
We invite anyone who has the desire and opportunity to join our project. You can help financially or simply share information about our activities. Together, we can bring even more joy, support, and self-belief to these children!
