Christmas for the Children of Dnipropetrovsk Region
On the eve of the holidays, our team of volunteers, together with friends from the “Message of Hope” church, set out on a trip to visit children from frontline areas. Over a few days, we visited 4 cities and 4 towns in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Zaporizhzhia, covering almost 3,000 km on challenging roads.
At a time when people especially need warmth, support, and hope, we held festive gatherings, spent time with children and their families, shared the Christmas story, and gave out gifts. Returning to the same communities, we met familiar faces for the second or third time and noticed how some of the children had grown over the past year.
This reminds us that life continues there, and many families still living near the frontlines need to know that they are remembered. Over four days, we were able to hold 12 events and reach about 1,500 people, including children and servicemen.
We sincerely thank everyone involved in preparing for this trip, our team, and our partners, who always do everything possible to ensure that projects like this continue to exist.
